1st Haircut

It is true, Lewis has had his first haircut already. Jared couldn't take the hair over his ears any longer. So for our date Friday night we went to 9 to 9 Barber shop and he had his 1st hair cut. He now looks more like a little man than a newborn.Pretty shaggy. A couple before shots...Lewis sat on Jared's lap during the cut....

He did okay through most of it but he definitely didn't love the process.

He does look pretty handsome...maybe it was worth a few tears.

8 Weeks, ALREADY!!!!

I forget how fast time flies and how fast newborns change. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing Lewis home from the hospital. I wanted to do a quick update of the last eight weeks and hopefully I will be able to keep it updated.

I had to throw this one in. This a very common occurance, Lily loves to climb up the crib to talk and sing to Lewis.

One morning I got out of the shower and Mallory had climbed into Lewis's crib because he was crying. I was mad at first, but of course I had to take a picture cause it was kind of cute.

Lewis's Baby Blessing

Today we were able to bless Lewis. We decided to do the blessing on Saturday so Scott and I could both bless our babies on the same day. Jared gave Lewis such a sweet blessing. There really is such a sweet spirit about our little guy and I felt the spirit so strong as he was blessing him. (At the risk of sounding clique) I really am so blessed to have the priesthood in our home. I definitely consider it to be one of the Lords tender mercies in my life. After the blessings we had a family dinner at the church. We have such great family support from both of our families. It was such a great day!
Lewis and Jordynn were born 4 days apart and it has been so fun to have 2 little ones around. My mom likes to call them her twins, even though they don't look anything alike.
