A week of craziness...

...and no pictures to show for it. I was so excited to sit down and blog today because we have had so many fun and crazy things happen in the last 7 days and found that 98% of my pictures had been deleted from my camera. Needless to say the girls won't be taking pictures with my camera anymore...at least not for a few years.
Last Saturday the girls had their dance recital and both did a great job. It was so fun to watch them and see what they had learned. Lily even won the "Dancer of the Year" award and got a trophy. Luckily we have a video of the dance so all the memories were not lost...
Monday was Lily's last day of 3 year old preschool and I had a really cute picture of her with her teacher. She has grown up so much this last year and has absolutely loved her teacher and being able to go to school like Mal.
On Tuesday both the girls had their last soccer game. They have both loved soccer this season. I think Mallory is finally understanding the concept and loves to play. Lily loved the season because her daddy was the coach. She loved being able to jump in the truck with him and go to practice, just her and her daddy! Jared is so good with the kids and it is fun to watch him, he is a very patient man! Lewis also loved soccer season but for a different reason. He is a lot faster then his 7 month pregnant mom and he loved to run from me!
We also took Lewis to the doctor on Tuesday because he was running a really high fever and his pinkie toe on the right foot was red and swollen. The doctor said he had a ear infection and an infection in his toe that would need an antibiotic.
Wednesday we took Lewis back to the doctor because his fever was still at 102.7 and his pinkie toe was now turning a lovely color of purple/black and he was starting to get a rash up his right leg. He wouldn't walk on it and held it in the air saying "owie toe". Jared stayed home to take him to the doctor and called me and said I have good and bad news. His ear infection is gone, I took him the our Chiropractor as soon as I found out he had an ear infection he has done wonders for Lewis and his ear infections!, but we are headed to the hospital for his toe. They lanced his toe and sent the stuff in for a culture to find out what the deal was. When we got to the hospital they started prepping him for an IV. Once he was ready for the IV it took 1 1/2 hours, 4 different veins, 5 nurses, and the anesthesiologist to finally get the IV in. He was ticked and I have to say it is really hard to watch your 17 month old being held down, screaming like I have never heard him for 1 1/2 hours. From that point on any time a nurse would walk in the room he would get really angry. We were there for 3 days and found out it was a staph infection. We have no idea how he got it and are really glad the worst is over. Here is a picture of the toe today. He has lost his toenail already and it looks a million times better.
Friday Mallory graduated from Kindergarten. She was so excited to finally be a 1st grader. She was all smiles the whole day. I Love the excitement this girl has for life. I hope she always stays that way!

Sorry just a lot of writing and not enough pictures, maybe I'll learn the download my pictures more often.
